Peacefire -- How to Get Around Blocking Software

While many parents install Internet Block Software to keep their children from viewing "porn sites" -- such software often blocks many other sites that have little to do with porn or sex, but offend the political or other views of the people making the blocking software -- including news sites and political candidate web sites they disprove of. Then there are governments like China who try to block everything they don't want their citizens to see. Whether such software is a boon or a plague depends on your point of view, but there are ways to bypass such blocking. The Peacefire web site has been devoted to providing such information to the Net for many years. Of course, it's one of the sites blocked by most blocking software, so if you need it, you will probably have to access it from a a unblocked system. Perhaps you ought to check it out while you have a chance?
