AlfaClock Free -- Enhance your Taskbar Clock

I recently switched to a third party Windows XP theme that has a slightly smaller taskbar. I can get two rows of quicklaunch icons and task buttons while squeezing out a bit more room for my actual application windows. Unfortunately, this left only two lines for my taskbar clock. It displayed the time and day of the week instead of the much more useful (to me) time and the day of the month. So I started looking around for a replacement that would display what I wanted it to display. I discovered a number of commercial programs that would solve this problem, but could not justify paying $20 or $30 for a clock program. I finally discovered AlfaClock Free. This program lets me display the time and date in the taskbar the way I want it without charging me enough to buy a couple of cheap wall clocks.

AlfaClock has quite a few of extra features that other taskbar clocks don't have. Like copy time/date to clipboard feature. Or a fully customizable pop-up calendar. Created to ISO8601 specifications, it allows you to change the first day of the week, highlight weekends and holidays.
Unlike some taskbar clock programs, Alfaclock Free is compatible with programs that change the look of Windows such as StyleXP and Windowblinds. It solved my taskbar clock problem nicely.
