DVDFab Decrypter -- Copy DVDs to Hard Disk

Posted on Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at 3:03 PM by Randall

Many people use DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink to make backup copies of their DVDs -- at least in countries where it is still legal to do so. DVDs are easy to damage in use and it is cheaper to damage a copy than your original. Unfortunately, DVD Decrypter has not been updated in ages and is no longer able to copy many newer DVDs. DVDFab Decrypter is a freeware version of DVDFab Express which does the same thing DVD Decrypter did, copy DVD video to your hard drive and remove copy protection as it does so. It is updated regularly and can handle most newer DVDs.

Like the original DVD Decrypter, DVDFab Decrypter is so easy to use it is almost foolproof. Select a source and a target and tell it to go. Unfortunately, determining whether it is truly legal to use in your country may require a team of legal experts.
