Methods for Boosting Your Internet Connection

If you have some skill with regedit, you can try to tweak Windows to boost your Internet connection's throughput. The amount of boost varies with your system and your Internet connection, but can be a noticable improvement on some systems. I found an article today that collects a number of tweaks to try, including a couple I've never heard of. Just remember to back up your registry (and make a system restore point on XP) before trying anything in this article. If you do not, and you mess something in the registry up, your only option may be to reinstall Windows.
